DO YOU NEED ASSISTANCE?
Our Constant Caring program offers immediate emergency support — including food, clothing, shelter, medication and more — to local individuals and families, regardless of race, religion, or creed.
At the Bikur Cholim – Chessed Corner @ Chabad of Marin, the Constant Caring Program reflects our belief that no one should ever feel alone.
So what is our Constant Caring Program? In essence, it encompasses the mitzvah of visiting the sick and providing vital emergency help such as clothing, food, shelter, and financial assistance. But here at Chabad of Marin, it goes far beyond that. It also means bringing healthy, Kosher, nourishing meals when you are ill at home or in the hospital… giving rides to medical appointments… Listening with compassion and helping you find trusted community referrals… assisting with grocery shopping when it’s just too hard to manage… offering help with car-pool… supporting you with medication costs, treatments, and essential tests… and, when needed, providing end-of-life visits, presence, and conversation.
