Kol Nidrei 6:30 PM
Thursday, Oct. 2
Yom Kippur is almost here and you need a shul to go to right? You've thought about coming to Chabad Of Marin for a while now but just aren't sure if it's really for you. Well, why don't you just drop by and see what we are like? Sure there might be some things that you are not used to but we really are a unique and authentic Jewish experience. The Rabbi? He's the guy with the beard wearing a black fedora hat and a long top coat (we call it a Kapata) and a smile on his face. Yes men & women sit separately but the person you will be seated next to is just so nice, you'll be fine meeting new people. Talking about seating - we don't charge you a fee for tickets to come for the new year. Actually we don't charge membership in general. Just join us. Our services are in Hebrew and English with an easy to follow machzor/prayer book. Our Rabbi will highlight passages throughout the day. He'll also infuse the day with deep insights that maybe you've never heard before. You will go away having learnt something new. You will go away starting the year with a new zest! Our new Abridged morning services start at 11:00 am with Yizkor at 11:30 am. Neilah is at 6:00 pm and Yom Kippur ends at 7:45 pm. Please stay and join us for our community Breakfast Meal - everyone is welcome!
Yes, it is all free but if you want to make a donation that would be very much appreciated! Suggested donation is $180 for YK and sponsorship is always welcome.
